Sparkling Soul Yoga on YouTube
Accessible yoga. Support beyond the studio. Care that continues.
Sparkling Soul Yoga on YouTube began inside a mental health hospital.
I was teaching yoga during the week, and my patients would often ask, “What do we do on the weekends?”
They didn’t just want movement.
They wanted continuity.
Something steady.
Something supportive when I wasn’t there.
So I started uploading classes.
It became a way for them to continue practising - to regulate their nervous systems, to move safely, to feel connected to something grounding outside of hospital hours.
It has always been my favourite way to practise too - in your own space, at your own pace, without pressure.

What You'll find on the Channel
Every practice is grounded in my training in:
-
Vinyasa yoga
-

-

-

You’ll find:
-
Short 10–20 minute practices for busy days
-
Gentle classes for beginners
-
Strength-focused flows
-
Deep release yin sessions
-
Hip and back care
-
Stress reduction practices
-

-
Structured series and challenges
Each class is inclusive, trauma-aware, and adaptable. You are always invited to modify, rest, pause, or repeat.
Why It Matters
Yoga should not be limited by income, geography, confidence, childcare, transport, or time.

Health outcomes are deeply influenced by the social determinants of health - access, education, financial capacity, environment, and opportunity. If we truly believe yoga supports mental and physical wellbeing, then it needs to be available to more people.

The YouTube channel is one of the ways I live my value of giving back.

It is my way of reducing barriers.
My way of extending care.
My way of supporting people who may never step into a studio.

Why It Continues
Because consistency builds resilience.
Because small practices create meaningful change.
Because not everyone has equal access to wellbeing resources.
Because stress levels are rising - and support needs to rise with it.
And because when someone messages to say,

“I used your class when I felt overwhelmed,”
or
“That helped me get through the weekend,”
I am reminded why this matters.
