If you have the time and the space you may like to declutter an area and add some calming elements like plants, candles, or soothing music to create a serene environment that promotes focus and relaxation. However, this is not mandatory and often not possible in the real world – my daily practice takes place in the morning out on my deck which happens to be outside our kitchen whilst my family members are cooking breakfast and getting ready for their day.

3. Find a style of yoga that suits your preferences and goals. Explore different classes, online tutorials, or apps to find the right fit for you. You Tube is a great resource and has many classes available at no cost from gentle Hatha yoga to energising Vinyasa flows, there are endless options to choose from.
